His career has only been plagued with criticism, but picture after picture he comes back again to anger his nay sayers with name actors and world wide releases. What's the formula for his success? Why do people get so upset about his movies? How is his latest movie Seed being received? What's his connection to Peta? We sat down with Uwe on Wednesday, November the 7th and asked him what he thought.

Boll is such an endearing
Boll is such an endearing character; understanding where he's coming from kind of makes you see his movies in a different light. Video game plots are shit (with few exceptions), and almost always come off as a half-ass knock-offs of better movies anyway, and this guy has the task of making *something* from those scraps. Oh well, when you're that passionate I couldn't care less about the result. The publishers sell the properties to him to make a quick buck anyway - so don't hate the player, hate the game. Games that are truly art (and there are some, believe me) stay as games because they simply don't translate well to any other medium, and that's the way it should be. Let Boll, and anyone who enjoys these movies for what they are, have their fun with these whore-licenses.

He may make terrible movies...but they always make money, so you have to admire that.
