Alright Muthafuckas! Here are the first buncha photos from our journey into Seattle for the 2008 Crypticon. There is a review in the episodes here: Tony Todd Interview and our Review of Crypticon
We should be posting more photos from some other cons that we attended pretty soon, but this should tide everyone over for now.

Here's Ben and Monique at our table.

Check out the Mewes, sporting his "so fresh, so clean A3U Hoody!" We got to hang with the more svelte half of Jay and Silent Bob.

Here I am, with new friends. My zombie peeps aren't much for conversation, but that's not why we hang out. It's an ego boost for me (being the best looking one of the group, and they don't mind taking their lunch with them wherever they go!



After a long day of pounding the convention carpet, I got a little hungry too!


This is the lovely Monique, whose company we had the pleasure of through out the three days. As you can see, the guys couldn't stay away!

I survived the Kane Hodder choke!

I tried to tell Ben that Kane is not someone to fuck with, but he just wouldn't believe me! I believe Ben is just in mid swallow when the cold hands of the killer of all killers wrapped themselves around his throat and gave it a little squeeze!

Of course, not even Kane can resist Monique's charms!

Ben makes friends wherever he goes. I tried to tell him, but he wouldn't listen; Tony Moran, the first Mike Myers will not tolerate anyone else who has the Halloween theme for his ring tone!

I guess not EVERYBODY wants to kill Ben... I just don't think Sid Haig knows him well enough yet.

There ya go! Ladies Love Cool Ben? Maybe not, but Ashley Laurence plays it cool.

That's not too bad of an idea actually. I'll cozy up to Danielle Harris anytime!

Ben with one of the sweetest ladies, Betsy Palmer, Jason Voorhees' mother from the original Friday the 13th. And Monique braves the very first Jason ever (from the same flick) as he wraps his claws around her. Seriously, he was really nice and funny as he crooned around the convention floor to nightmarish lyrics. What a character!

So I know I should post these things sooner, but check it out! We have had one busy month! We did the Seattle Emerald City Comicon a couple weeks ago and that was at least three shades of Kick Ass!
We just finished doing another Seattle Con, the 2008 Crypticon! Ah the good times, there were a plenty! I think I just gave Mike Stepney our resident gramatical guru some thinking on the validity of that last sentence, but you all know what I was talking about.
As if that wasn't enough, we have a new store opening up! If you haven't been to our sister site http://www.agesthreeandup.com.php (and I can't imagine why you wouldn't!) you might not know that we are currentl;y in the middle of prepping our second location in Vancouver! Yay, us! This means that we've been super busy and I have spent all my un-conventioning time moving boxes.
Not to worry though, all of our conventioning goodness was not without it's own special fruit to bare. We made many friends and many of which were brutally black mailed into interviews. So look forward to that. And in the mean time I should be posting an impromptu interview with the illustrious, the venerable and oh-so-suave Mr. Tony Todd, straight from the convention floor. So stay posted!

Some of you may have noticed that this morning at some time, you couldn't access the site! Sons of bitches you say! Yes indeedy I reply as we have so many loyal listeners! We've tripled our bandwidth limit and will do so again when the problem arises. Thank you all for being patient, we're back up and running, hoorah!
